As I have mentioned previous. One way to successfully reach your goals are to set small projects, where the end goal is a result. During this project you set several goals to reach your desired result. Let me try to structure it some simpler: What we want as a result should be the goal or result from the project. It is of course important you set the result as realistic result. Don’t set a 10 week exercise program and expect you can achieve world recoding in 5k. You personal goal should be to be able to run 5k at your best performance; next you set a goal of reducing your time with 5%. You will keep reducing the time for a while, till you learn you don’t manage improve with percentage any more. At that time your goal is to maintain your speed and endurance, and try to include new exercises and monitor how it affects your performance of time
To successfully reach a goal you will need to set daily tasks, these are daily goals which you should enjoy doing. You could have daily Exerting, eating healthy five times a day, cleaning your office to become more efficient and so on. These tasks are often written on a piece of paper with priorities. During the project you will have to delay some tasks, and you will do it according to your plans, and modify your plans accordingly.
Shortly :
Desired result / end goal is the reason of the project, or project definition.
Tasks : Daily goals to reach the result, tasks will need to be monitored and we have to modify our plan according to our plan.
This mean at the start of project you will design a plan of task to reach your result, and during the project you will monitor progress and modify the plan. In some cases you might have to change the result as well. You might learn you can’t reduce your personal time with 5%, and have to reduce it to 2% more efficient, and make changes to your plan. You might also miss an exercise on Monday and reschedule it for Tuesday.

The figure illustrates Project Management Institutes definition of project management.
A project is initiated; a plan for the project is created. Next we execute tasks in the plan, monitor the, and make changes to our plan. Planning, acting and monitoring will continuously interact with each other till we have reached our goal. It is important to keep in mind that a project has a start date and an end date. There is a deadline, and once it’s reached we start a similar project with a new desired result. It might be wise to create clear, short term goals which could be reached within three months before we create a new plan. If your project is to lose weight you should make it to lose a realistic goal, as 5-10 kg within a month, and continuously check if it could be reached. If not your modify your plan to lose 3 kg, but do not give up if it goes slower than expect, only modify the demands of end result, and maybe increase the effort if possible (by effort: more exercising, less unhealthy food and more healthy food – do not start diets or stop eating – that’s not a way to maintain a realistic and
good plan for losing weight. Do it by changing your lifestyle to be healthier. Step by step.)

Success
As I mentioned and put a lot of weight to previous; it’s important to create goals that are enjoyable. To create goals that is realistic.
Now it’s time to look at another really important issue; to give your list of goals priority. It is not to be hidden that one of the most important things you can do is to complete tasks that are urgent and important first of all. Later you start with those that are less important.
An easy way to do this is to create three categories: A, B and C. A are those things that are vitally important that is being done, B goals are goals that really should be done, but not vitally important for this day. And of course the C category which is the goals that are nice to be done with, but not really important.
By putting each goal in your list in a category; you will always know which goal you should do at once. Of course each goal might still have to be reorganized to do even later, but you should make an effort to complete as many A goals as possible, and attack the B goals, before you finish with the C goals.
When you have learned to create realistic goals for each day, you will most likely be able to create all your goals within time limits without problems, but some days there are those impulsive situations you can’t do anything with. Your only choice is to do these tasks before you do your original goals; but try making these disturbance short. If someone come by the office, or make a call you should try to make everything short and to the point. Don’t waste time hindering you from completing your list of tasks. Nothing is more important than completing tasks you are to do.
Think about it: how much time do you waste talking people at work or university each day, how much time do you waste answering the phone. If people come by talking, make it a priority to do it fast, and if possible agree to talk later if it is something time consuming, you might even put it as a new goal for the next day to finish this discussion.
An efficient way to make people go from the office shortly after coming is by living your office to do something, and ask them to make it shortly while you walk. This other thing could be a goal you have to do somewhere else. It is often efficient to ask people stand up as people are less relaxed and less likely to talk for a long time if they see you are in a hurry to do something.

Success
We have previous looked at defining goals according to your situation; how to make them realistic, how you need to keep determined to succeed; and lastly on how important it is to create goals that are giving you hope and inspiration. The part of being determined is important; you might have some heavy moments where the start of the project is taking away your hopes. Let’s say you haven’t exercised in a while; if you suddenly start running you will feel the blood in your mouth, the legs might even hurt after a while. Those moments aren’t really making you feel good; or motivating you. But the feelings afterwards are rewarding; you feel better after exercising, even if your legs hurt a lot you feel great on succeeding your goal to run and exercise. Sometime it is painful to start new path; but there is an old saying; no pain, no gain. It’s true in the sense of creating goals and project plans as well. The beginning might be hard and discouraging; but the reward of being persistent and standing by your plan might be really rewarding as well. Even if its pain and harder to motivate yourself to run the next day as well. But again, it will be some hardship, but easier than yesterday. And it still makes you feel good. However; you should reconsider the goal if it doesn’t make you feel good, or doesn’t improve your present. There is no use having a detailed project not supporting or helping you. Just in case; always keep a sheet on why you want to change. Keep it with you to give birth to hope and inspiration all the time.
I hope this series will help you start setting your own goals. That it gave you some ideas on how to create project plans, and helps you to enhance your life quality. There is no reason to live the life as we were thought by school and society. There is no reason we should only do tasks at they are told without trying to improve the quality of your life. The most important question you ask yourself when starting with goals is; do you really want to change your life? Do you want to control the present to give hope and inspiration? Or do you want to keep blame everyone else for your situation? If you are like me you really want to change your life and having the ultimate goal of not being a slave for the work and society; but to change your life; create quality in what you do and ultimately being able to help others having much harder situation. I will keep writing on my research and experiences on getting better health; better economical situation and how to improve my social skills.
